The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed about the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support place created sassa status check for intervention experiences a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at sassa status a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
